Great Social Environment

I enjoy living in my apartment. I feel quite secure most of the time. I really like where we can go down in the lobby and visit with other residents who live here, and sometimes gossip but not much. I like when we have some gripe we can talk to our manager.

In Short, I Like It Here!

In the course of my 88 years, I've had many different homes - my own where I raised my family (and a wonderful garden) and sometimes only a room (in another's house) was my 'home'. Even here in Idaho, I had one rented home which was not as comfortable as this one is!

In short, I like it here! Management and personnel are both friendly and cooperative.

Going Out of Our Way

I want to inform you that your employee and apartment manager Heather Garner has been so nice and helpful to me.



I have been at Elk Creek Senior Living for 2 months, and she is always very professional and, yet, she has gone out of her way to help me to join all activities and introduce me to other residents.



You are fortunate to have her as a manager for this apartment community.

How a Home Should Be

I love that our apartment comes with an air-conditioner! I also love that we have reliable internet, and it’s FREE! Also, the apartments have a storage closet and free laundry services. The apartments are very spacious, clean, and roomy, like how a home should be. When we have a problem or when we need something fixed, Mike the maintenance man gets it done fast, and I mean fast! The manager, Josie, is so nice and always willing to help us out and solve stuff. She is very patient and super sweet which is a plus b/c I’m not afraid to ask her a question or talk to her about anything. I love living at Main Street Station. It is definitely a home away from home.

Long Overdue

This letter is long overdue:



I've lived at Forsyth Village for over two years, and I have watched the maintenance person as she goes about doing all the "dirty work" for this complex. Amazingly, she manages to do it all with a great attitude and no complaints. Sometimes the problems are challenging. Rather than resorting to a quick, band-aid fix, Lori looks for the root cause. Once she takes care of something, it doesn't fall apart again. This shows me how much she genuinely cares about us. We've had an unusually large amount of snow this year. Every night a new layer has fallen. If not for Lori's diligence in keeping our sidewalks and porches shoveled off, there would have been a dangerous build up of, not only snow, but also of ice underneath it. She works incredibly hard in sub-zero temperatures long before most of us "old-folks" are even awake to ensure our safety.



For me, though, I most appreciate how she pays attention to our every-day habits. If she notices something out of the ordinary, she unobtrusively inquires to make sure we are okay. Having no family to check up on me, I really appreciate that extra effort on Syringa's part. Again, I feel bad about not writing this sooner, but better late than never. Lori is a genuinely dedicated, hard worker, who genuinely cares about us. Having lived in other income based housing around Montana, I definitely know that we are fortunate here. She is a rare gem!

Feeling Fortunate

Both the Manager and the Maintenance Person do a fabulous job carrying out their specific duties and they work together really well. I am so glad Syringa Property Management has employees like this. Thanks to this team, this apartment complex has a very good reputation in Forsyth.

Making This a Home For All of Us

I have lived in Syringa Properteries for the last 15 years under one manager, Wilma Hatton. She is fair, firm, friendly and fantastic at what she does. It is a hard thing to try to satisfy 62 different personalities and I would never have a job that requires it. Wilma is fair to all and somehow maintains her sanity and sense of humor. Believe me, I am not the easiest person to get along with, but Wilma takes everything in stride and strives to make this a home for all of us! Good job, Wilma and Syringa, together, what a team!!!


Having this apartment saved my life

I want you to know that having this apartment saved my life. I found myself in a situation with nowhere to go. Syringa was instrumental in my recovery. Management has been wonderful and so are my neighbors here at Livingston Village.

A Breath of Fresh Air

Please understand I did not want my name put on this letter because I would be too embarrassed if her were to find out. I wanted to say that I have been so impressed with he complex, and specifically with the change in managers. I have never had a manger who will stay past their office hours to help me with the paperwork for my home, and especially be so kind to me. He has explained the process, and how my income works with what my rent will be. I know I am old, and not a computer person, but he is so very good at answering my questions.



The changes in the parking lot, where we actually have someone come in and remove snow have been such a change. In the past, nobody ever did the parking lot. The sidewalks are actually plowed each time it snows and I have not fallen down since you wonderful people showed up.



I would like you to know Brad has been a breath of fresh air to the complex and all my neighbors would agree. I have found each time we compliment him or thank him, he quickly brushes it off or says that is the way the property should be; a place you can be proud to say you live there. He is very humble, and very sweet.



I would like to thank the laborer that was hired for the complex to fix our plumbing or problems we have had in our apartments as well. I have had very cold water from the water heater since I've lived here and when I told Brad, he had it fixed the next day.

Letter of Appreciation

I moved to Canal Senior Apartments in March of 2012 with some trepidation. I had recently lost my husband and had always lived in a large home. It was a major transition for me. Overall I am happy with your facility.



A person that stands out is your property maintenance person. Has has been pleasant and accommodating. He is a very hard worker with an excellent outlook not only about his job, but also the residents. You can always expect a warm, sincere reception when you see him. I have put in a limited number of minor requests for service to my unit. He completes his work in a timely manner with an outstanding attitude. The request is always repaired properly without a call back.



I hope he is given some recognition for his outstanding service to your company.

Safe Harbor

SAFV Task Force Inc. is a non-profit agency that helps local victims of domestic abuse, dating violence, stalking and sexual assault. We have a 24 hour safe house and crisis line. So far this past fiscal year (July 1,2012 to June 30, 2013) we have provided shelter to victims 44 for a total of 989 shelter days. After coming to us we help them to find new safe living arrangements and this is where your manager at Rocky Point comes in.



Pat is a God send for our program. We rely heavily on help from Pat when we are helping someone find a safe, comfortable new living arrangement. Rocky Point is the first apartment complex we call because Pat is always so accommodating and professional in every way. Rocky Point is well cared for; our clients feel safe there, and it's really a beautiful complex. Pat has high standards for the upkeep on the property. This helps our clients relax and enjoy their surroundings. They are able to go to work knowing they will be safe in their apartment when they return.



Unfortunately, every community has a safe shelter such as ours and all are non-profit. Therefore every program must rely on help from the community to continue to provide items and services for victims for domestic violence and sexual assault. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to let you know what an important role Pat plays in helping our victim's become self-sufficient.
